This Privacy Policy explains how Whale VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles personal information through the mobile application (referred to as the 'App'). We provide VPN and network acceleration services under principles of transparency, data minimization, and reasonable security safeguards.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, app access path, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes, this Service may process approximate device location. These data are used to: 1. recommend routes based on Whale VPN's node distribution; 2. improve stability through anonymized aggregate performance analysis; 3. send important service updates, security notices, or account-related communications.

We transmit anonymized or aggregated data to necessary third-party providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, only for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except for legal process, regulatory requirements, user safety, fraud investigation, or service providers bound by confidentiality obligations, we do not sell or share personally identifiable information. You can stop new operational data collection by uninstalling the App through your device system.

User-provided data is retained during the active service period and for a reasonable retention period afterward. To delete your account or personal profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If such data is discovered, we will delete it as soon as practical. We use physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to reduce unauthorized access risk.
